disabling a truck

ill get straight to the point and say that my mother "disabled" my truck and i wanted to know how i can "enable" it

it attempts to start but doesnt, all battery connections and fuses are good

is there a trick parents know to easily prevent their kids cars from starting

1990 f150 lariat

Check if the fuel cutoff switch has been popped...

check the fuses under the hood too or try to make good on whatever you did to make your mom mad. I would also check the coil wire to the dist.

First things first, go out and pull the coil wire on her ride. That way u are at least even and nobody goes anywhere until yours is fixed, lol. Secondly after u get it fixed, get a locking gas cap and keep that and your doors locked. Third and last thing, dont **** off your parents anymore, lol

That sounds like a fast ticket to moving out and paying your own bills. And if that truck's title isn't in your name, you'll be walking until you can afford a used Yugo.

I'd recommend you UNdo whatever you did that made her want to "disable" the truck to begin with, and never do it again.
