Leaky roof
Hi,
I just found your site as I was looking on how to repair a raised roof that has to be leaking. I have noticed that the carpet in the back is wet a lot of the time. I am assuming that I have a roof leak. I am so clueless as to how to even go about a fix. I guess I could take it to the place where it was purchased from. The van is a Ford 2010, E250 handicapped conversion van. Any thougths would be welcomed.

First be sure where the leak is coming from.
The weatherseal on the rear doors could be bad.
Or you may have a gap because the doors are misaligned.
Get inside and have a friend spray the rear area with a hose. Or check at a car wash.
PS: Is there anything up on the roof? Mounting holes may need to be resealed.

I think it is on the driver side mostly in the back by the battery box, although I have gotten a few drops of rain water on my left leg as I am driving in the rain.

The weld where the roof joins the A-pillar is a known leak point. Poorly sealed replacement windshield can leak. Debris in the cowl at the base of the windshield can block drains sending overflow into the cabin.
