That's the shape I am looking for but with Camper Special letters.
They made those originally with Camper Special inserts as well as the 100/250/etc., but I’ve never seen them reproduced… here’s one I found several years ago. A buddy of mine has an early ‘65 model, made in Nov of ‘64, that came with these shield emblems on the fenders. They just never made these shield emblems with Four Wheel Drive inserts. Which, is what I’d like to find a source to have a set made.

Thanks! That's a beautiful example of what I am looking for. My daughter has a circuit machine and I just bought her some chrome vinyl to see what she can do to make letters for a replacement insert. She has 3 kids at home so little time. Cutting plastic I can handle. If it works out, I am sure she can do Four Wheel Drive. It's finding the time.

When she finds some time, definitely post some pics of what she comes up with… I’d be really interested to see. Thanks!

My wife read this thread and asked me what is wrong with you people? You know everything there is to know about a pickup but know nothing about a little machine. She said it isn't circuit it is Cricut! I said that is funny I always thought it was Cricket. I am out in the garage now working on my pickup

I type cricut and circuit gets put in by spell check. I just got the lettering from my daughter and I cut the plexiglass. It's a bear to keep it from cracking. Painted it red and will put letters on and put it on the truck tonight hopefully.
Painted on the backside. That font is a bitty to get right! From looking hard at the old piece, I think the letters were black but I am going with chrome. Badge removed for cleaning and to insert the new shield.
Grandpa69. They now make a nice rubber pad to go behind those emblems. I put them on mine. I think it will prevent dirt from accumulating behind them. LMC and probably DC sells them
I cracked the protective layer while cutting it. I'll make a new one sometime but this works for now. Stormy and hot today so no fun. Cutting plexiglass is a bear.

That really came out pretty nice! And yeah, I’ll bet cutting them out is a chore. Makes me wish I knew who actually manufactures the reproduction 100/250 inserts… contact them and request some “blanks” to custom print like you’ve done here. I bet the Four Wheel Drive inserts might be even easier, just being block letters.
Get some Lexan. It is virtually unbreakable (even beating it with a hammer) and cuts with a jigsaw and will not ever crack. The sign faces on Coke and Pepsi machines are all Lexan and God knows the beatings those machines take.

Lmllwao! If I thought these things would get a beating, I might look into Lexan. I used to know a place that threw away a lot of the stuff.
While I had the old ones off, I thought about how cool it would be if they could light up. Maybe a soft glow while the lights are on. I'm not ready to cut a hole in the hood behind them to make it work. Still the idea is cool with amber LEDs?
What is Lmllwao? But in the case of Lexan I was just referencing how tough it was and it would cut without cracking like plexiglass does with a saw. A lot of people have no idea what Lexan is. But when it comes to cutting plexiglass I usually will score it with a utility knife and break it. If I need round corners I will take it to the bench grinder with a very fine wheel and grind the corners into it.
Not of great quality but here's a scan of an old advert Ford put out announcing the new for 1964 F250 Camper Special packages. And the F100 Heavy-Duty Equipment Package which required the 128-inch wheelbase, but since you could get everything listed as separate options it was possible to equip a 114-inch wheelbase truck with the same items.
