'65 F250 power steering hose
This might get better traction in the year model forum(s) where these systems are available, but I'd figure I'd start here.
The power steering system I have is all Ford out of a '76. It has worked fantastic. My pump died after 30 years and I was to replace all hoses, pump, and I already have a redhead gear in it. The new return hose for a '76 (w/360) is bent such that it doesn't really fit correctly ('73 - '76 2WD all same P/N) (Edelman 70962). The end of the pipe kicks up and points the end away from pump, and is "aiming" over pump. Could I make it work by u-turning the rubber hose and snaking it where it needs to go? Maybe, but it's going to look odd. Now a hose from a '69 - '72(w/ 360) appears to be more like what I need but pics don't do it justice (Edelman 70958). The pump P/N for both year model years are the same. I have to believe there is only one option for a pump bracket on an FE, in other words the location of return port should be in the same location. I would use the hose I have but the flare is cracked and leaks slightly. I have no idea what hose I got for it way back in the day.
Summary:
Power steering pump, pressure hose, and gear for a '69 - '76 are the same, but the return hose is not from 69 - 72 vs. 73 - 76. I do not understand why these differ when everything else is the same. Since I know the later model hose does not work (maybe), do I roll the dice and order up an earlier hose?
With all the suspension, brakes, and steering changes I've made, all '76 parts always work. Not in this case.

I assume you have a Ford steering box with a Ford-Thompson pump. The same pump was used on a gazillion different cars and trucks the difference in applications was the tanks. The return lines pointed all different directions depending on what they were in. Are you certain you have the tank from a 76 truck? Since it is a return and doesn't have any pressure on it you could just reuse your old fittings and replace the hose.

Yes, that's my steering setup. No I am not certain this is a '76 truck tank, good call. It is likely easier to buy a '76 truck tank than to figure out what I have. The flare on my return line is cracked and not usable, hence this search. I ordered up a '72 hose from local parts store today, good price and will be here Tues.
