Time has come to replace the previous owner tags with mine on the Excursion I bought last month.

I tried to remove them, but it turns out Ford did a very good job back in '01 installing a special frame and brackets for Norwegian tags. All metal (steel I suppose) and completely rusted out.











Any idea where to find those plastic step pads in Arizona tan / beige? I can only find them in black. I really do not want to replace the whole bumper, for now....

I've been wondering about this too as mine are faded by the sun now. I thought about maybe painting them with a plastic paint but I don't have much confidence in the paints that advertise intent for plastic use and UV stabilization...

 

I've thought about that, or even replacing all of them (front and rear) with black ones and call it a day...

Well let's hope we get an answer.
