Excursion Lift Kits

Would Like opinion on lift kits from people that have installed them. Better Ride?. Better Handling? What Shocks?
I have ordered the rancho 9000's with in-cab adjuster but am considering lifting to get a better ride. Does anyone make a 2-3" lift kit. 4" lift kits might be a little much for me.
Thanks for any replies.

I have a 6" skyjacker lift with 37" ssr on 16.5 rims, running rancho 9000s 4 in front and 2 in rear. the ride is a bit bouncy at slower speeds, even with adjusting the tires and shocks.

Excursion Lift Kits

Just picked up my 2002 limited and sure enough on larger bumps and even on the expressway at high speeds the front bottoms out. It looks to me like a two-inch lift and a slightly more aggressive shock would do wonders for the ride. I will use it primarily on the road with 1000 to 1500# of load. It is a limited PSD. Any input will be appreciated, if any one has done a small amount of lift just to increase the front travel.

I installed the skyjacker leveling kit which lifted the front 3" and installed 1-1/2 block in the rear along with the rancho 9000 shcoks with in-cab adjuster. Also M/T Classic II rims with goodyear 33's. Truck looks great and the ride is defintely better. No more bottoming out on the highway or porpoising. It was a little firmer than I expected, but it is a definte improvement. Also installed the stull grille.
THE TRUCK LOOKS AWESOME
