Good morning all. I am considering on purchasing a 2013 f350 4x4 Dually kings ranch $35K. The truck was owned by a friend of friend who has passed away. and it only has 64K miles on it. It was a daily driver and he pulled a 5th wheel, but then parked it for the last few years and purchased another daily driver, he used this truck when he towed. I have only seen pictures and according to my friend its looks like new inside and out.
I know parking diesels is not a good thing and if I purchase all fluids and filters will be changed so I know its been done.
My questions are do these year models have any issues I should look for, are they good reliable trucks, are there things that should be upgraded, I'm concerned mostly with problems they may have. I have read about rad leaks. not sure about def. BTW any idea on the MPG? I will mostly be using it for towing, very little city, just curoius on real time MPG
Thanks for helpng me make a decision on this, it's a 750 mile turn around trip, don't want to make it for nothing!!
