It's been a few days between my posts. I wanted to give an update, I made it to my destination but I had to rush the last day as I was travelling with family when a commitment came up where I needed to be back in town before Saturday. I did end up finishing my trip with a final special destination. I apologize for the lack on content or an immediate update. I ended the trip back where the truck was born, at the former Ford plant in Milpitas, now the Great Mall. Thank you for the support I received from yall along this trip. The truck did great, back to regular maintenance for now. I am looking forward to taking another trip sometime in the future that does not put me on such a stringent timeline.

Yeah, I used to go with my dad to the Ford plant in the late 60s and early 70s, when they let us use the parking lot for autocross events.
Never did go on a tour of the plant though, like I did with the GM plant just up the road a bit in Fremont. And now it’s the Tesla plant!😁
Both of them were just fields and farms surrounding them back then.

Whereabouts are you gonna call home now?
