1979 351m vacum lines
My Ex-Girlfriend yanked all of my vacuum lines off my motor and for the life of me I can't figure out what goes where. I looked at the schematic in my manual, but that didn't really help me that much. Does any know where I can view an actual picture of the motor with the vacuum lines detailed or a where I can get a better schematic than the one I have.

The '79 schematics are strictly that - schematics. The earlier years are illustrations. 351M's are popular you might be able to pop the hood on a truck somewhere..at least you could reference the parts that are shown on the label and on the schematic. Post a wanted add in the classifieds if you need the schematic.

if you really dont care about emissions....run your essentials. run a vac off main vac to the vac modulator on the trans. run the dist vac off the port on the carb that sucks on acceleration. run your pcv and brake booster hoses should be self explanatory...and if u want egr (but why?) you want this operating at full temp so u run a like to the pvs on the thermostat housing and a line off the top to the egr. think a universal vac diagram might have a better way to do the egr stuff, but u want it operating full temp and on throttle theoretically...i think..i never kept it on my 79's
