I’m troubleshooting a check engine light on a 2005 E150 with a 4.6L. It’s giving a P0193 code but the engine runs good. When running data stream, the fuel pressure sensor is reading 74.05 psi with a desired fuel pressure of 39.59 psi. Do you think the fuel pressure sensor is at fault?
Put a mechanical gauge on it to confirm actual pressure. You can rent a gauge from most auto parts stores. If it’s really that high, you’ll see it in fuel trim adjustments.
Put a mechanical gauge on it where?
His has no test port if it has a one line system and a fuel pressure transducer
Sounds like the pressure transducer is faulty
You unplug that transducer to see the fuel pump dead head (put out full pressure)

Are you referring to the fuel pressure sensor when you say “pressure transducer”?
