Need front end expert advise.

My Excursion keeps eating tires. Always on the passenger front. The tires are coming apart on the inside. Belts pushing through the inside. They do not break through the tread but there is a huge bump. I have had six tires do this now. Not right away but over time. Perhaps half the life of the tire. Had the front end aligned. Have had the ball joints replaced. Still happens. What gives? Thanks.

How is the wear on the tires before the belts start to let go?
Do you have the alignment results handy to share?
What brand(s) and model(s) of tires have failed?

same brand each time?
are your roads bad on that side? is there a bump you hit fairly often?
Are you running D or E rated. If D, that could be your issue. 2000/2001 Excursions had door stickers that recommended D rated before Ford fixed the issue in 2002. They were supposed to put a new sticker on the older rigs...but didn't always happen.

I have a hard time believing the Excursion is the cause. Unless it's wrong weight class tire. It's most likely an environmental cause. Like a bad pothole or similar you're hitting fairly often. Sometimes tires are just crappy as well. I personally refuse to run Toyo tires because i've had several belts break in their AT tires. I had 3 do it between my Superduty and my Excursion in 2yrs span.

If they’re wearing evenly and you aren’t seeing/feeling a poor ride from the rig itself, it pretty much is either the tire itself or environmental factor.

check out the General Grabber. It’s a knockoff of the KO2 pattern. I got 70k from my last set under a Suburban (E rated). Phenomenal in ice/snow. They still had an easy 10k of tread left, but winter was coming and I don’t play around and risk poor traction. They do have more road noise than a typical AT. But less than a MT
