Need some advice

I have a 2003 Econoline e150 base model van with a 5.4l and 4r70w trans. My transmission went out on me and this past December as a gift someone bought me a used one out of a 99 f150 everything I looked up said they would swap out fine I just finally got it installed went to put it in drive and it won't move all my fluids are topped off it's even been rebuilt I had it redone out of local transmission shop I don't know if it's cuz the wiring for the sensor behind the shift linkage because they were two different styles of plug in so I swapped out the two plugs to make it work or what. Can somebody plz help so I can get back to my travels n work thank you

I was looking up wiring diagrams-- but without know which style you have and which style of transmission connect- I got nowhere-- Sorry I couldn't help.
