Trying to get some advice

Would a 285/75/16 fit on my 2004 excursion and clear deep turns without having to do anything to it?

Welcome to the EX forum!

Yes, those tires should fit perfectly. Many, many owners here have run them for several years.

As Tom mentioned above, 285/75/16 tires fit perfectly on our Ex’s I have run them for 9 years and just recently replaced them with the 18” Harley Davidson wheels. You will have no issues at all and my Speedo actually was more accurate with them

I ran 285/75/16 tires on my 00 F350 4wd and the wife's 00 Excursion 2wd with no issues whatsoever on the factory wheels for probably 20 years. I decided to switch to larger 18" factory 04 wheels on both trucks in the last year or two.
