Possible HP rating 7.3
I built a 7.3, early '02 with factory forged rods
I have 280 x 80 single stage injectors
Dual HPOP, Regulated fuel return, Cross over oil line line
Oil return from the rear of the head
Air dog, AFE stage II, Custom 4" Air feed, HyperMax H2E QSBB
Sperco intercooler, Secondary oil filter, upgraded plenums
ARP studs on the heads and crank
other sufff, It scales at 9800#
DP tuner w/ Sock, 80, 100, pull modes
Probably forgot some stuff
4.56 Air lockers F & R, 37x12.5, Custom 8" springs (Alcan )
Dyna trac 35 spline axels, 2" Billet wheel spacers
cross over steering w/ dual hydraulic ram assist
Howe Enginering (modified TC-2) PS pump, (made for Chevy Desert Racers)
(I run modified 10.20 log truck chains) w/ no frame scrub)
it will easily do over 100 mph and have left over throttle
My question is What kind of HP / Torque do you think I may wake?
They almost all have the same thought is do running thorough our heads, most are also shaking.
I will say some of it. Put it on a dynamometer and find out if you really have this setup.
Almost everything you typed on the 2nd post here makes absolutely no difference with an engine that from factory is 275 or so ponies.
You do not say what engine you have or what truck it is in. Therefore, like almost everyone you have just about said nothing that makes sense. Apples and oranges is what you are talking about. I also seriously you have a truck that scales 9800 pounds unless it is loaded. Your truck weight also does not matter when it comes to horse power. So nothing.....
Try again...
Seriously.
But I agree. Put it on dyno and find out for sure.
If you really need to know where you're at now, you need to put it on a dyno. Otherwise NONE of us are really going to be able to tell you how much HP you're making.
Why would you WANT to run one of these over 100 mph on a regular basis? It's a big brick, and you've lifted it and put big tires on it that aren't rated for that kind of speed anyway.
