starting problem

Bonjour,
Le moteur de ma Ford F150 5.8 EFI de 1992 s’est arrêté subitement et je ne veux plus redémarrer.
La pompe à essence ne tourne plus alors qu’elle est neuve.
Quelqu’un a-t-il une idée pour m’aider ?

Êtes-vous en train de dire que votre pompe à essence ne fonctionne plus du tout depuis que le camion a cessé de fonctionner?

the vehicle suddenly stopped, no more ignition and the fuel pump no longer turns

no spark at the spark plugs or at the coil. fuel pump not powered, fuse and relay ok

Sounds like either your ECU relay has failed or the ECU itself has.

there is a way to check the ECU to be sure before ordering a new one

Does the Check Engine Light (CEL) illuminate when cycling the key from Off to Run?

If yes, does it turn off when cranking the engine?

Then you need to verify the power path to the computer (PCM) is good. Could be a bad fuse or bad contact on the ignition switch.

I would check Fuse U in the engine compartment fuse box first. Then Fuse I.

Is there power at Fuse U with the key in the Start and Run position?

Does the EEC relay energize when you cycle the key to the Run and Start position?

Is there power at Fuse I at all times?
