73 F600 VIN Decode

Looking to buy this dump truck. It appears in very nice condition.
The current own says he thinks the clutch will need to be replaced soon. hoping to glean some insight and guidance.

176 = 176 inch wheelbase

T = Red

F610 = F600 gas, 4x2, 19,700 lbs GVWR

E8
E = Red/Dark Red Vinyl
8 = Custom cab, cab and chassis vehicle

A = New Process model 435 four speed transmission

F2K
F2 = Eaton model 15201 two speed rear axle, 15,000 lbs capacity, 5.83 / 8.12 ratios
K = Ford front axle, 5,500 lbs capacity with power steering

19700 = 19,700 lbs GVWR

23 = Memphis District Sales Office

No special order.

Check your wheels, widowmakers were still out there.

Can't quite tell. We need to see a clearer straight on picture. If you see a split in the ring on the front wheel, it's not a WM.

Not widowmakers. Good. Locking ring wheels are "safe" if handled correctly. You may have to shop around for a truck tire shop that will work on them as it's "work" to deal with them.

Not the original carb, which would have been a governed Holley 2bbl, 2300 series iirc.

For the price... it doens't seem horrible. Owner is asking $3500.
Haven't heard it run yet. but the oil/coolant leak by the thermostat housing is a small concern. along with all the silver/gray silicon/manifold goo.
