Hi! Joined a while back but never submitted a hello post. My girl is a 1992 F150 4x4 XLT Lariat and I have owned her for over 23 years. She was just a work/utility truck for the first couple decades of her life with me but now that we're both retired I have been slowly trying to restore her to her former glory. She has some minor mechanical issues which I'm slowly resolving one at a time. I'd prefer to have someone else do the heavy lifting but finding a mechanic who does more than hook a vehicle up to a computer and turn wrenches is tough going. I've had more than one shop refuse to work on her as she is an "older vehicle". Now I am not a mechanic by any means but over the years of working on my own vehicles when possible I have gained some basic knowledge and I know my way around my F150 pretty well.

Thanks for the knowledge sharing!
Hello there! That's a nice truck! Welcome to the forum.
I almost think I see a red Ford Lightning in the background, but no ground effects so maybe it's a normal OBS with cool rims or something:
You know, I took another look at that red Ford across the way and I think you're right! The folks that live there aren't very friendly and so the rest of us avoid having any interaction with them but I took a closer look at the Ford and I am 95% convinced that that truck is an old Ford Lightning. I haven't had a chance to check out the front end for the red air dam but it is the right color, does have the optional tubular bumper and custom OEM wheels. (It belongs to one of their boys that doesn't live with them and isn't in the driveway very often.)
I see one on occasion on my way to work if I go that direction. It never moves but looks like the same thing. That special Lightning red color, somewhat faded. I think it was special to the lightning, it doesn't look like the same red as a normal F-150.
Your neighbor's one could be a "tribute" Lightning . . . and normal F-150 with Lightning parts swapped on.
