I recently purchased a 2000 Excursion with a 2011-2016 F250/350 front clip conversion.
I'd like to get an aftermarket heavy duty front bumper for it. I assume the front clip affects which bumper I should get. Do I select that I have a 2000 Excursion or a 2011 F250 when searching for or ordering bumpers?
The ranch hand bumpers look good on that year, that’s what I have on my 16 F350. Check out used ones on FB or CL, picked mine up for $100 and spent $300 getting it blasted and powder coated. Cant beat it for the price 😄
Just wanted to follow up and confirm that you have to order a bumper that matches the clip but then get frame mounts for the specific year EX.
So in my case, 2016 bumper with 2000 frame to bumper mounts.
I was only able to find one bumper manufacturer that would do this....Move Bumpers. It's easy for them since they are selling a kit and the buyer has to fit and weld everything up. No cost for mix matching the Move bumper kit.

I'm a Move Bumpers fan in general. My Ex has Move bumpers on both ends (both are highly modified from what the instructions say to do, but they started out as Move bumpers anyway).

I also have move bumpers on both ends of my second gen Dodge, but since this is a Ford forum, I won't disgust y'all with pictures of those.

I had no idea you also built a front bumper. What a great job. I ordered a similar front bumper from Move. I can't wait to incorporate some of your changes. Thanks!
