I have a stock pump with 205/30’s paired with Kc300x Stage 2
Which pump is better and will last me longer in the long run? Don’t want a pump that will go out on me later on. I see the Terminator T500 is a lot cheaper
Also how much a difference will you feel going from a stock pump?
Can you please elaborate as to why, for each pump?
My factory HPOP failed quite soon after I first purchased the truck. After going through some research similar to what the OP is doing here, I decided on the Adrenaline. The first one lasted 37,979 miles and just under two years. It was rebuilt by DieselSite and the second time it lasted 31,287 miles and just under a year and a half. The truck was out of service for two months each time because of Adrenaline availability. DieselSite offered to rebuild the pump a second time but I had had enough and used it as a core to purchase a T500 through RiffRaff instead. The T500 lasted 72,689 miles and just under 4 years. When I tried to contact Terminator I was ghosted. Not even Clay at RiffRaff could get hold of Joey. I needed the truck running and CNC Fab had just come to market with their pump. This pump is currently at 8 years and counting.
How many miles on the current 8 year and counting pump?
Revisiting the four (4) HPOP failures (in other words, lots of personal experience) that you have had previously...
1. Was there any commonality in the symptoms you encountered immediately prior to or as the pump was failing? Or did you experience different symptoms in the failure of one pump versus another?
2. Was there any commonality in individual sub-component wear or breakage between any of the pumps (if you did any diagnoses or disassembly) ?
3. Now that you have experienced multiple failures, what are some of the signs and symptoms that you would advise readers to pay attention to, that could portend or evidence a pending HPOP failure?

I am not near the truck right now so I am unable to give you a number. I will upon my return stateside.

Yes. IPR duty cycle kept climbing while ICP kept falling. The progression from start of failure to total failure was quite rapid unfortunately. About all I was able to do each time I noticed imminent failure was to pull over to the side of the highway safely before the engine stopped running.

In the case of the Adrenalines, the cylinder barrel had spun on the input shaft. I found that odd since DieselSite claims to pin those parts together on their Adrenalines. I forget what happened to the T500.

Keep an eagle eye on your IPR duty cycle vs ICP. These two parameters are permanently displayed on my Scangauge II which is placed smack in my line of sight as I drive.

Im assuming CNC Fab has a good rep. Gonna look into them more.
My stock pump is becoming very leaky and hasn’t been replaced (400k miles). Was think a new stock pump or upgraded pump
