Does anyone in or near socal know of a shop that can do a Godzilla swap for me? I’ve got all the parts, just need a reputable shop.

If a shop were to do it they would technically have to make it pass smog for the year of the engine.

No easy task.

I'm sure you '90 is a fine ride but this will be about as expensive as buying a used vehicle that had the 7.3 as the OEM engine.

 

I have a brand new 7.3 Godzilla with all the smog equipment on it since it came right out of a zero mileage dealer smog compliant vehicle that was converted to an EV. Everything including the cats are here and simply need to be installed in the bronco. To out it simply, it would be like pulling the body of a 2023 truck and swapping the body of my bronco since even the fuel system of the 90 bronco would be compatible with the 2023 truck, I just need a shop to do it.

You have everything, meaning the processor and wiring harness with all the sensors?
Your Bronco PCM is not going to run that new Godzilla motor and pass CARB
Can be done but you will need everything

 

find a place to park your truck then gut the entire drivetrain and then get to work !! where are these godzillas coming from ? i want one

Well, maybe take it out of CA for the work
It will not pass CARB for a 1990 XLT anyway right? And, you are not trying to pass CARB right?
It's a ton of work and you will be in a ton of money, but I know of a few shops over here in UT that would be happy to get that swap done for you

 

it’s getting everything: 2023 ECU, complete 2023 fuel system, 2023 transmission, body control unit and every part that will make the CARB emissions test machine believe it’s testing a 2023 F250
