living in south Mississippi, the inside of a vehicle gets super hot. Just in case I have to open it up again, I would like to use something similar to the OEM tape as it doesn’t get gummy when exposed to high heat.
Use 3M Super 33 or Super 88 electrical tape. It does not get gummy and is very stretchy. Best electrical tape made. I have never found the thin, lightly gummed tapes used to wrap wiring harnesses.
