Have a 2012 F250 that is my daily/work truck. I noticed that the running lights on the trailer will work as they should, but nothing else. (Brake, Signal, Hazards). Doesn’t even flash the brakes when i lock/unlock the truck. It is not a trailer issue because they work fine with my dads F150. Any ideas??

Check the trailer wiring fuses in the under hood fuse box. See your owners manual starting on page 321. If you don’t have an owners manual, you can find it here. https://www.fordservicecontent.com/F.../12f23og4e.pdf

This seems to be a common issue on 'newer' Ford SD trucks, fuses either weren't installed or are blown and never got replaced. If it's not the fuses then you'll need to check for power at the plug for those pins. If no power and fuses are good you'll need to check wiring.
My truck had the factory plug on the bumper & one in the bed, the 1st time I tried to use the one on the bumper I wasn't getting anything but the plug in the bed worked fine.
I ended up pulling the plug apart & giving it a good spray of brake clean & put it back together & everything worked great. Looked like the factory grease on the pins was dried & crusty not letting the pins make contact.
