Trailer light issues

I have a 2007 f250 6.0. It has the built in brake controller. I lost my blinkers and brake lights. The tester shows my running lights working and my auxiliary charger but that's it's. If I push the brakes manually on the controller I also show power there but not when using the brakes. It says trailer fault. Any help would be appreciated.

Did you check the fuses? Trailer light fuses are separate from truck fuses.If the fuses are blown check the last trailer that you had hooked up for wiring faults.
