I cannot figure out this noise for the life of me. I just took took the truck on a 1000 miles trip towing a small boat, and when I got back, the lift pump was leaking a solid amount of fuel.. I don't like to take my truck to shops, but I needed it that next week and dont have time/space to diagnose at the moment. They changed the lift pump and the leak stopped. I installed the tuner after this, had some fun in the DD tune (no hard shifts/launches.etc) and towed a 8k trailer a relatively short distance the following week.
Truck started making this noise at idle.. You can hear it very clearly in the cab, so I messed with the alignment on the DP, but it's still making the noise. It's very clear from the passenger side of the truck and underneath.. Sounds like it's coming from TC/flywheel??
That's what I thought as well.. All TC bolts are tight. Interstingly, while I was turning the FL over with the TC bolts, I was able to hear air escaping from where seemed to be my oil pan gasket... Fun.
