2014 F350 6.2 needs WOT to cold start
Have an F350 with the 6.2. 180K miles. Started this winter where it would long crank to start. To the point now that it needs the pedal to the floor to start when cold, appears to be flooding as it will dump fuel smoke when she starts. Warm starts are usually OK, not as quick as they could be, but usually starts up 1-3 seconds.
This is on a 2014, I'm aware of a software update for the '17 and up trucks.
Have a CEL with a code for one of the cats, which I presume is a symptom of this and not the issue.
Google-fu has failed me in finding what others have done to fix this.
Changed the Evap module, fuel pressure module (not pump); new plugs and wires, new DS exhaust manifold, new starter, new battery, new alternator. First 2 were changed in chasing this problem out, mention the others in case I could have knocked a sensor/vacuum line when changing parts and missed it.
Have Forscan available, not plugged it in yet, only been using torque to read the current code.
Suggestions please.

Forscan might tell you something. Use it. The code for one of the cats may or may not be a symptom. That could very well be 02 sensors, or the Cat.
I haven't had anything close to your problem, but the software on my truck, a 2011 6.2 was updated when I got my friendly Ford mechanic to make me new keys. It did nothing else. He just did it because it might have prevented another problem, if left alone. Why the evap module and the fuel pressure module? Was that from an earlier code problem? I think, normally, that the truck starts after the priming process by a relay. If you are having a problem with fuel pressure not building before it cranks, you have a valve letting fuel pressure leak down, while it is trying to start. Forscan might just turn out to be your friend.
It will be interesting to see if that helps. Keep us posted, please.
