Clear 16.5” wheels?

Has anyone tried 16.5” wheels on a 17+ super duty? I’d love to throw some classic welds on my truck but don’t know if they’ll clear the brakes

Wheels

I’m pretty sure that the minimum size wheel is 17” due to clearance of the brake rotors and calipers.

What are these classic welds off of???
Bolt pattern changed somewhere along the way, so even if the wheels may clear the brakes, they may not fit the bolt pattern.

Tire selection is horrible in 16.5" wheel size. I basically gave away the last 16.5" wheels I had because I didn't want to run swampers, firestone highway tires or goodyear military tires.

Up to 1997 F250/F350 8 lug pattern was 8 on 6.5"
1999 to present the 8 bolt on single rear wheel is 8 on 170mm. DRW is 8 on 200mm.

Yep I know it’s 8x170. I guess I meant “classic” as in styling. Found a set of 8x170 16.5x12 weld Scorpio and that’s what had me wondering if they’d clear
