Question Weird things happening

I have a 95 7.3. When I start it the engine idles ruff for a 5 sec or so period then goes to normal. It seems to idle slower than normal too. Sometimes when Im driving, it will all of the sudden cut out for a second then back to normal...Finally, it was idling ruff when I would let off the pedal to come to a stop (45 miles an hour, let off pedal, no engine noise, then ruff idle, then when I get rolling slow it idles normal. Iv searched and cant seem to find anyone having the same problems. Any info is greatly appreciated.

I've experienced both of those. Seemed to have solved the "cutting out" with a new cam position sensor. Mine usually idles rough for a few seconds after a hot start, and sometimes when I come to a stop. This has been going on for several years. I've gotten used to it.

i noticed something similar on my truck when pulling a trailer cross country. As i was slowing down on the off ramps (foot off go pedal) and then pressed the clutch in, the engine seemed to drop down below an idle for a second then come back up. Little unnerving the first few times, but got used to it. Seemed that if i didnt let the engine slow me down some, the problem didnt happen. I havent done anything about it since then.
