Intake manifold question
So I'm putting my intake manifold back on after a bad sealing oil leak. It is an aluminum Jegs 4 barrel putting on a 302. It is recommended to re-torqued after reaching operating temp. So do I run it once to warm up and then let it cool before the re-torqued or can I run it for some miles and then re-torqued ... Or does it re-torqued while warm when it reaches temp ... Nobody really explains this process ... Thank You

I'd just give it a few heat cycles and then go back over the bolts. Depending on the gaskets it might loosen up a bit. Either way, you don't want to get carried away with tightening the intake on those engines. As it tightens down into the V it tends to lift up on the heads.
