Sterling 10.25 question
I recently purchased a disc brake conversion from lugnut4x4 for my 86 F250. I'm planning on doing a powerstroke swap in the this truck and I was thinking about swapping the rear axle with a newer (94-97) sterling 10.25. My question is is there any difference between the older axles and the newer axle that would prevent me using the disc brake conversion on the newer axle instead of the older axle? I hope this makes sense...

At some point they changed the design of the pinion and maybe the bearings due to issues of the pinion loosening up on the older axles. I am not sure when they made that change. I don't know of anything that would change the brakes.
