I also agree, he used to have better shipping; now it seems excessive
It is surprising how much inflation has raised the price of everything, unfortunately we don't control the shipping rates, we just pass our discounts over so you pay actual costs. I guess we could offer "Free shipping" like a lot of others but they just hide it in the price of the part. All the same in the end, UPS / USPS has to be paid, and margin had to be made on the part. IMHO it is just a marketing tactic to make the consumer feel like they received something for free, which didn’t really happen, and it also devalues the true cost it takes to ship.
What I have found ordering through Riff Raff is quite often the price of shipping is generally the same whether I am ordering just 1 6637 filter, or ordering 1 6637 filter and 1 fuel filter and a turbo boot. The shipping box size would probably be the same size and the weight isn't much more for the additional items. I just order a few items at once as it is more cost effective. I doubt Riff Raff is making any appreciable money on the shipping.

I do not remember the details and it might have been before the big inflation jumps.
from reading the other 2 posts below yours I just checked pricing to ship the up pipes and it is very reasonable. I apologize and retract my statement on shipping. I just faintly remember wanting to order something small and costs I thought were more than a flat rate shipping box at that time.
I do understand shipping rates have changed quite a bit in the past yr, possibly longer
Did you take yours apart just to see and photograph the internals or was there another reason like making an adjustment to the screens?
I was just planning on putting it on without taking it apart but figured I'd ask first in case the screens were not set up out of the box for max coalescing.
