Ventilation doors cycling continuously

Ventilation doors cycling continuously
The ventilation doors (heat and/or A/C) are cycling continuously for approximately five minutes or so after every start-up. The sound is similar to a low pitch creaking door in an old house. Is there a control module, temperature sensor, etc. that would cause for this to happen? Any suggestions on how to isolate the cause?
