Color matched bedliner?

Anyone done it? Tomorrow I'm having a shop apply a color-matched spray-on bedliner, it's an option I don't see very often (not counting those with black trucks lol.) I'm anxious to see how it turns out.

My red truck had a red liner sprayed in by the previous owner and I didn't like it, black would have been much better .IMO...

My Black 2024 F350 has a color matched spray n liner! 😉😁🤣😂
Kidding aside, I personally think it would be too much color and an overkill. Think you would grow tired of it quickly.
But to each his own.
If you do post pics.

i hd it done to my 05 /v10 250 SB back in 2005 and have to agree it was a mistake, since every truck has been that everyday shade of BLACK

It was already at the shop to be sprayed this morning. And I did wonder wonder how well it would hold up to stains, especially mulch and deer blood. The installer (body shop vs a bedliner retailer) says he's had pretty good luck with stain resistance. Currently the bed is already Gold, since Ford paints all of their beds in the same color as the rest of the truck. I'll post some pics once done.

If you're getting Linex, and plan on actually using the bed, you will be wasting money. Their original color match years ago was a solid color mix. The current process is to spray the standard black liner, paint white, then final color match on top of the white.
So if use your bed, it will scratch off the top coat and expose the white undercoat. I haven't seen it personally but supposedly the exposed white will turn yellowish over time.

There were pics posted here of an Atas Blue matched that looked really good. Realize that if you don't get a liner at all, you're already color matched.

I don't get it.

Isn't the bed already color matched?

How would it be any different?

I would also suggest a heavy rubber bed mat. I have a Dee Zee one in mine. Worth its weight in gold on these beds.
