not sure which part to change. Ignition switch, immobilization module ( goes around key cylinder assy) or lock key cylinder.
symptoms-
door open with key in, key not turned, sometimes will chime, sometimes not. If I VERY lightly push key towards column, it will chime. I let off, it stops.
upon putting key in, (no twist) seat moves.
upon putting key in and lightly wiggle, dash lights flicker and seat moves spastic.
fault code: B10F1
anyone know of the most likely culprit? I’m guessing the key cylinder due to how sensitive it is to the minor key movements that create a reaction.
Power seats with memory function and “Easy entry and exit” is enabled, the seat will move back 2” when the vehicle is turned off and move 2” forward when turned on, or could also be using the key ID to set the seat back to memory set position.
If you don’t have memory seats then I’m not sure why it would be moving.
