427 oil pan help

For more oil capacity, an FT or an FE 4wd pan might fit the truck. (Top photo is for an FT). Like the OP said, I believe the cross member and/or the steering linkage might interfere. And you may have to fabricate a baffle system and a place for a dipstick.
Fwiw, I use a standard volume and pressure pump with oil restriction to the heads and the 2wd pan. I tow and haul but don't do hard acceleration or take the curves real fast so 5 quarts of oil is sufficient.
