New code, code 29
Alrighty everyone, as stated, I am now getting code 29 (to accompany code 34) both are CM codes, KOEO is a pass.
(1991 5.0)
Would the VSS effect the engine in any way, as in, should I worry about replacing it soon? Or is it ok to leave it for now (manual transmission by the way)

It affects the shifting of the automatic trans if equipped
If unplugged or shorted, the engine will still run fine
The cruise control will surge if the VSS fluctuates
You could run through the pinpoint test steps for code 29
