4.2 oil pump
ok here goes truck just hit 100,000 saturday the freakin oil light comes on when ever i take a 90 degree turn right or left drops to 0 oil light comes on as soon as i striaghten whell and go straight it raises back up to where it needs to be. no i am not stupid it has oil in it and oil was changed 2500 ago. i think maybe my pumps startin to go but figured id post here get some opinions. i have owned truck since it had 30,000 on it i have always wondered why my truck got such bad gas mileage (4.2 , 5 spd ) when truck was bone stock susp with p245s (22 gal tank) i was pressed to go 310
now that shes lifted with 33's i get bout 250 to the tank if im lucky. my rear end tag says 3.55 gears WRONG the thing has 3.73 and the thing aint never been opened from factory ford made a boo boo i always wondered why that truck was so fast and could smoke the hell outta 1st and 2nd and sometimes bark 3rd so for those of you getting bad gas mileage and think ya got 3.55's check it you may have gotten 3.73's like i did with a 3.55 tag
