Another Question 96 Explorer Limited Lean
So I had new tires put on and had I t aligned and it has the driver side lean. Digging around on the internet and here I've learned that because of the gas tank and the driver being on the same side, the drivers rear leaf wears faster than the passenger side and you can either swap them side to side or replace them. I'll be carrying band equipment so I'm going to have them re-arched and a leaf added. When he did the alignment he said he cranked the driver side torsion bar as tight as it would go but it's still sitting a little lower than the passenger side in the front. I have the air ride suspension so my question is twofold, do the air shocks which are holding air and seem to be functional wear also to contribute to the lien and do the torsion bars wear? I want it to sit level and I want the amount of kush or lean to be the same on each side so I don't want one torsion bar cranked tighter than the other.
