new member and hello to all!

Again Hello, decided to join today because I have 2 older Ford pickups, a 1997 F150 4x4 with the 5.4 and a 1989 Ford Ranger 4x4 with the 2.9. With the age of these trucks, chasing parts is at time proving to be on equal to chasing Unicorns. FTE seemed a great place to get some help finding those parts long out of stock parts and if a part proves unavailable, maybe someone knows of a work around. I am going to jump right in asking for help finding a part I need for my F150. My 97 F150 4x4 5.4. uses a factory installed remote oil filter. The oil filter sits right behind the left side front bumper. The oil passes through two rubber lines going from the engine, through the oil filter and back to the engine. These lines are leaking and in need of replacing. Finding these lines has proven very difficult. If anyone can help me find replacements I would be very grateful. Thanks

Not a lot of pressure in those hoses
Take them off and have some made at a hose shop
If they refuse, cut the band clamps and make the hoses yourself like the old dealer installed A/C hoses we used to have to fabricate

This is exactly what I would advise.
Welcome to the forums! Love this generation of F150s!

Personally I'd post a photo or image of your existing set up including any approximate OD dimensions and lables/markings on the hose. It would be more helpful allowing us to see what you have now.
