I saw a nice stockish 54 on eBay. Everything looked good except the seat . It looked like a seat from a 67-72 Ford truck . It was worn with holes. But it looks like the owner flipped the seat around so you are sitting on the seat back.
Why would anyone do this and would it be comfortable?
And isn't a 67-72 bench seat too wide for a 53-56 F100.
Looks right to me . The stitched border follows around the outside edge . The seat back is much lower than it should be moving the base forward and giving even less legroom . Curious .
I was looking at that wondering why take the seat back off and drop it. But I think John is right. that would give you a couple more inches of legroom.
Makes the space behind the seat difficult to use. I have lots of tools and such back there.
