I recently bought a new to me 2000 f350 7.3 obviously. After only driving it a few hundred miles it’s developed a knocking which I hear mostly at idle and it does increase with slight rpm. I can’t really hear it when driving over other engine noise. It’s easiest to hear from the passenger side. It has new oil and filter new LPOP bc it had a leak as well as a new oil cooler. I did pull the valve cover and unplug each injector and the sound didn’t change. I will link a video for reference. Any input would be much appreciated.
Have you looked for signs of an exhaust leak? Check for soot around manifolds and uppipe connections. I’ve found a leak by feeling while engine was cold.
Air in fuel can also make the noises louder. Does it do it while the tank is full too?
