Some guys may want your OE cat pipe for states that require OE or some goofy state specific ones (i.e. CA) Consider an aftermarket Y pipe with high flow cat and your choice of catback. The 3/4 ton had a larger Y pipe per my pal who swapped a 351W into his half ton with the F250 Y pipe.

351 exhaust
I am changing to a 351 and had a hard time finally getting the correct “Y” pipe.
I have the complete 302 engine to dual cat pipe along with the air injector tube. Luckily we do not have to put up with emission inspections here.
Anyone who needs 302 exhaust parts just PM me.

Remove the muffler, leave the cats in place
We used to have fun dualling out Fox body mustangs using recalled Tempo cats
Shorty headers and a long cat behind each, then out to the periphery with exhaust pipe
Sounded throaty, borderline trouble with the law
