So iv made a post on this before still can't figure it out this time I got a video to help figure it out. Current codes are 565, 10, 173. Pretty much if I don't let it sit for about 5 10 min before I drive it. It will bog down really bad some times pop then outta nowhere it will pick up then if I try to hold a speed it will shift down then bog down again till i get on the Gas. Iv done plug, wires, cap and rotor, icm, o2 sensor, distributor pickup coil, ignition coil, tps and more I haven't said cuz I can't think of it ATM. Update can't add the video but some more context it sometimes will sound like it's cammed and almost stall at idle then it will pick its self up
Check your codes and go from there, btw 10 is a separator code, it doesn't mean anything.
already did 565 canister purge valve had this code since I got the truck so over a year, 173 means its running rich
only started doing this about a month ago
I'd suspect a failing PCM or leaking fuel injectors. There is no test for the computer just pull it out for a visual inspection, if anything on the circuit board looks less than pristine it needs to be replaced. To test for leaking fuel injectors you need a pressure gauge attached to the fuel rail, pressure should hold after the engine is shut off or the pump is primed at startup, if it bleeds off to zero immediately one or more injectors could be leaking. To figure out which one just pull spark plugs to see if any are wet.
