Hi everyone I just got one of my dream trucks! It is a 2003 f250 6.0 2wd with the 6 speed. It was a 1 owner truck when I got it and the previous owner bought it 2 years after he retired to pull his camper. It's had a ton of work done over the years and I have a huge pile of receipts but I haven't gotten threw all of them. It's got 266k on it. I drove it 200 miles and I noticed it didn't have as much power as I think it should. It starts great when its cold(20°f). Well it died on that 200 mile drive home and I scanned it and the ficm was no longer connected. I checked all the wires and they were fine so I pulled it out and it was replaced in 2015. I ended up towing it home and ordering one from sinister diesel and now it runs but it seems even more gutless then before. I've only drove it 50 miles since though. Truck has zero blow by and I can hear the turbo spooling up. It does still have the cat and muffler on it. Anyone have any ideas?
It's trash, I'll take it off your hands. Where are you located?
Jokes aside (its not really a joke tho), if you're gonna own a 7.3 or a 6.0, you need to acquire the software to monitor all of the sensors, pressures, etc. It would be helpful if you provided some more info, like is it bone stock, no tuner? They're pretty damn sluggish with no tuner.
Cat could be clogged (probably is) and the muffler doesn't mean much, unless its clogged too (doubtful)
I just have a vlinker with the forscan app for my phone. It's not fancy but it's what everyone recommends on a budget. The first picture is stored codes second is key on and the third is cranking. That is before it was running again.
Looks like you may have a charging system or battery problem I’m unsure those voltages are low could be killing FICMs
the DTC for FICM is probably from being changed before and not calibrated to your particular version of software/strategy your currently using but they usually do run
rerun the numbers nowvit runs include sensor values @KOEO & @IDLE & @HIGH Idle 2500 rpm
include these sensor

Rescan for codes
So I rescanned it and I'm getting a ton of codes now. When I revved it to 2500 i could notice a miss I didn't before and some blue smoke. But it looks like #2 injector is having issues. It's in order key on, idle, 2500 rpms
Is the battery light on the dash constantly on or coming on maybe it’s an old DTC was memory cleared before rescan
you can check your #2 injector coils with a DVM checking continuity and ohms. You can also do a bubble test of the injectors
Believe it or not there has been zero signs of it not charging correctly. It spins fast when I fire it up in the morning when its arounds 20° and I havent had any lights on except the abs light. I made sure I cleared it 2 times before just to be on the safe side. When I first started looking into everything I noticed the fuze for the obdII port was blown but im not sure if thats relevant to anything. I will look into that injector tomorrow and see if I can find out if it's bad or not and go threw all the fuzes to see if i can solve a few codes. In the case that it is bad would it be best to just get a single from Ford or should I just replace them all when im in there? If I do go with a whole set what would be the best set for reliability and budget? I don't mind buying from ford but if I can find a good set for cheaper I would. Thank you for all your help!! It's much appreciated

Haha yeah I have forscan so I can monitor it. Helped me a ton figuring out my injectors were bad on my 95 7.3(also on the list of many projects). The 6.0 doesn't have a tuner but was bulletproofed at 200k. Luckily I'm in Montana so I can delete the cat and muffler. Any recommendations on a tuner? I dont know if I need a special one for a manual or nor
