How’s it going? So I have been looking for bushings but the ones I ordered from speedway which were the bronze universal ones were too big for my shifter holes to fit into. Does anyone know the right size bushing for a hurst indy 3 speed?

I just bought it in a 1978 f150 that was a column shifter that was moved to the floor. So it’s used but the stick shift has Indy on it. Seems pretty old school though lol I love it just know it can be better

 

Pretty standard once you know the ODs of the holes and pins that go in them, Lowe's likely has them, if Tractor Supply or Home Depot don't.

 

Interesting I thought I’d have to goto an auto parts store? I know how to put the clips in and all that just don’t even know how to measure what the hole is

 

Here is a link to most "Hurst" installation instructions. They vave the parts lists with the sizes listed, just find your shifter.

 

Is this normal for the shifter

This part on the shifter rotates or slides forward when I push it up into reverse but stays here when in 1,2 or 3? Is that normal?
body to do this?
