d5 axel code
could somebody tell me what kind and size rear end this is on a 460 dually crew cab , I do know it has 4.10 gear

does anybody know exactly what the code d5 means id like to go to to a 3.00 gear but I dont what kind of rear end to order for

the d5 refers to a 4:10 limited slip.

but is it a dana 60 ,44 or 10.25 in size ??? I am not familiar with those rearends

I just answered a similar question to this, but I'm pretty sure the dually uses a Dana 80 rear axle.

its a '88 f-350 dually 460 auto crew cab 4.10 gear, so it probably is the same as the 87 the axel code on the door says d5.
