So I picked up the lockable storage box for under the rear seats. I think it’s from an 08, but I ain’t sure. My 08 has the foldable rack under the rear seats. What do I need to swap them out? It looks like it possibly locks to the rear seat itself. Is this right?
2011+ trucks came with the lockable plastic storage tray, you can remove the metal foldable rack on the 08-10 trucks and the plastic tray will bolt right in. If you want the 12v plug to work you’ll have to run wires for it. As for the locks, they do lock into the bottom of the rear seats, I’m not sure if the 08-10 has the provision for the locking arm to grab whatever it is in the seat. Also the thin metal locking arm takes nothing to bend open, it’s really just for looks and not much for secure storage. I swapped the plastic storage bin into my truck so I could store a few things under the seat, never used the metal rack.

I hate that metal rack! But I’m glad to know that it’ll bolt in with no other mods. Thanks for the info.
