Rear Seats
2020 SD Extended Cab. When I fold down the rear seat bottoms they do not lock in place. Is this normal or am I missing something.?

Do you have a key slot near the pivot (where the seat bottom meets the seat back)?

No - I do not see anything that looks like a key slot.

It is normal for the seat bottoms not to lock in the down position. Some have the ability to be locked using a key, but that might only be those with the under seat storage compartment.

My 2017 and 2020 do not lock either. Normal on the extended cab..

Normal on crew cab as well. My 2022 crew cab seats do not lock when down.
