Want to bet if I walk into my FORD dealer, they make a trade offer and I say "give me another $1500 for my trade" as I get up to walk out they will do it??
It depends on what you are paying for the new truck. If there is enough profit in the new truck deal then it is possible to get a $1500 trade in increase. With my 1/30/24 2024 F-450 Platinum deal, the dealer wouldn't budge so I sold it to Texas Auto Value for $5,250 more than the trade in offer ($89,000 vs $83,750). Trading would have saved me $5,025, 6% sales tax of the $83,750. I did ask for them to bump the trade value just another $1,000 or I was going to sell it to a wholesaler, but they said sell it the wholesaler, with XPlan there was not enough profit to bump the trade in value.

sold my 23 KR (that I found and drove to Cheyenne to buy from the eastern times zone) for 100k so no trade. I sold it to Texas Auto Value when the dealer offered me 88k.
this is the truck I ordered and waited over 2 years for so i don’t think I’m getting anything from the dealer besides xplan that we agreed upon back in early 2022.

just saying these mailed discounts mean nothing…..

They meant something for me!
Below is a scan one of 5 that I received in the mail in the last 2 years.
I used a $2,000 one on 12/20/22 for the 2022 F-350 Platinum that I purchased (Traded it in for $4,500 more than I paid for it)
I used a $2,000 one on 1/12/23 for the 2022 F-450 King Ranch that I purchased (sold it for $4,015 more than I paid for it)
I used a $750 for Lightning on 10/6/23 a 2023 Lighting purchased 10/23. There was also a $7,500 Cust Cash, $3,500 dealer discount and $7,500 tax credit I applied.
I used another $2,000 one on 1/30/24 n a 2024 F-450 Platinum I purchased and still have. I also had an additional $6,000 Private Cash Certificate that applied
I was planning to use this $2,000 one on the F-450 that was built on 3/12/24 but hasn't shipped yet.
I've also used PCOs on a 2016 F-150 ($3,500) , a 2019 F-150 $3,000, a 2019 F-350 $2,000 and 2020 F-350 $2,000
I don't know why I keep getting them but I'm not complaining. By ordering with XPlan w/price protection, applying PCOs and other discounts I've been able to trade of sell trucks after keeping them about a year with no loss and most times with a profit. When Covid hit and inventory was scarce a low milage 1 year old trucks were worth more than original MSRP.
When I bought my 2020 the offers would pop up at random while I was on the Ford website. I've been on it multiple times over the past 2 months building and changing my order. No pop ups and not sure they even do that anymore. Has anyone had that happen? I did call Ford today and I don't have anything in their system.

But...the one yr newer replacement price was inflated $5000-$10000 more then your trade was 1 yr ago!!
FWIW - Just got one in my email this morning. $2000 for superduty and $4000 for F150, Expy, and Lightning. I'm a little disappointed that it came since that $4000 might have been enough incentive to buy an Expedition.

LUCKY! Do you recall when you got a previous one? My last one was for $1,000 on a super duty and it expired in January. A $2000 one would be nice.

Same. Could have used it BEFORE I bought the truck.
Last one I received clearly stated for new in stock 2023 F150's and Super Duty's only. Since it was for 2023 models and in stock, I tossed it.
It would have been nice to get one for my current order!

Next time you see that wording, "in stock", ignore it, they typically can still be applied to an order. Although I'm not sure I've ever seen one that said "only". The past few years they did include wording saying something like, "place an order or"...., prior to that there was no wording to include ordering but they were still valid on orders.

You and I have the same color with the black appearance on order. Mine is scheduled for May 13. It will probably be June before I get it so hoping something breaks loose for a PCO for me. Probably since I have an order with my email in it they'll say he's hooked so ignore him.

I see you have great taste!
I ordered mine 23-Feb-24, got my VIN with a production date for the week of 15-Apr-24
Hoping all goes as planned!
