So I recently bought a 1992 ford f250 4x4 that I want to lift and put 37s on. But I’m also planning and swapping the front TTB for a solid Dana 60, and a lot of lifts I see say IFS only on them. Is that really that big of a deal? And if so, does anyone know a good lift that would work for me? It has the towing package if that changes anything
As mentioned, super easy to lift if you're already planning to do a d60 swap. With a D60 front your suspension would be identical to an F350, more or less
Get the axle, do an rsk and those will have options for lifts, theb get some comfy SD springs and the fronts done. Get some fresh rear springs and a F350 block and the rears probably good to go too.
The kits are all going to say ifs only since the F250 pretty much only came with the TTB D50 ifs. But some people think leaf spring front is same same between F250 and F350, so that's why the disclaimers there.
