I recently bought a 1992 ford XLT flareside f150 5.0 and it don’t start just cranks, was told it was the timing so we fix the timing issue she fires right up but after it sits and come back to it the next day she won’t start again I’m an slump i don’t know what would cause this type of problem, I have replaced spark plugs, plug wires, fuel filter, ignition coil, cap and rotor

What lead you believe it was a timing issue and what did you do to “fix” it? You replaced those parts because you don’t have spark? Check for KOEO fault codes and fuel pressure.

Well I was told it was a timing issue and the person I bought it from said they have someone work on the timing chain and someone mess up the firing order and the distributor so we had to fix those problem and had to pull and reset the distributor and when you spray starter fluid she fires right up I personally believe it was something up with the fuel system and not the the timing but kept getting told it was timing and not fuel and the engine is running rich so I figured it was either the fuel pressure regulator or the fuel injectors
If it runs with starting fluid it is more than likely a fuel issue. Check fuel pressure with a mechanical gauge. Remove the vacuum hose from the regulator to see if fuel is present. If so, then the diaphragm is bad.

I don’t have a mechanical gauge but look at getting one and yes I pull the vacuum hose and thier is no fuel
You have tried flood clear to start it?
Might have a leaking injector or a few of them
The fuel pressure test will show a few things
You can rent one
Good luck
Do check the codes
